William Ryan Pressley
(a.k.a.) Illicit Biography

I graduated with Honors from Seneca College's Radio and Television Broadcasting Program and I've also finished 4 years at York University in a General Arts program.

Besides being the Owner and Program Director of Illicit Sound.......I've also been working at Toronto's 93.5FM for the last 10 years.....I Produce Live To Airs but have also covered an ON AIR show once a week....and even written Commercials and Promos.

Sports radio was also a big part of my career also. Along with Producing Nationwide Network Radio Broadcasts of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Raptor Games on The Fan 590 AM, I also helped launch TSN 1050 AM by Imaging/Producing and Board Oping for Cybulsky and Co.

I've been a part of a number of DJ / Production Companies over the years such as Freedom, Mass Konfusion and still currently with Illicit Sound and Culturz Entertainment .

I've been performing for over 22 years. During that time i've performed at some of the biggest Clubs and Venues in the city and the GTA. I've performed with names like Melanie Durrant, Trinity Criss, Tricky Moreira (Juno Nominee), P Plus, Reddy Fox, DJ James Redi, BlewVelvet...DJ Makem......Hollywood Edge Productioins. (just to name a few) I've done recordings, drops, and worked on Interviews with people/groups like Beenie Man, Next, Lupe Fiasco, and even Jay-Z. I've Organized/ Promoted/ and Performed at every event imaginable.... High Schools, Weddings, Fundraisers, Graduations, Formals, Private Parties, and Corporate Events, Boat Cruises...etc. I was even the Audio Technician for Solar Stage Theatre. As you can see Music and audio are my life!!!

There is only one other thing that has captured my heart like music - my charity. I'm an Executive Board Member of a Charity called Third World Awareness. We are an organization that invites people to volunteer in Developing Countries; to educate, medicate, and just simply care for people who aren't as privileged as we are in Canada. We're currently working on an on going project in Port Au Prince, Haiti
